This Payment Policy outlines the terms governing all payments made by learners for courses, programs, and services offered by Skill Versed Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office in London, United Kingdom (“Skill Versed”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By completing any payment through our platform https://skillversed.com, you (“the learner”, “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with the terms described below. This policy is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with UK consumer protection and payment regulations.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept mul ple secure payment op ons through authorised payment service providers, including:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.)
  • Bank Transfers and Online Banking (UK and international)
  • Digital Wallets and Payment Gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Wise, or equivalent secure partners)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and EMI/Instalment Plans (subject to approval from our finance partners where available)

All payments are processed in GBP (£) unless otherwise specified. Currency conversion charges may apply for international transactions, as determined by your bank or card provider.

3. Payment Security

  • All transactions on our website are protected with 128-bit SSL encryption and processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways to ensure secure data transmission.
  • Skill Versed Ltd does not store or have access to your card or banking credentials.
  • Our payment partners are authorised and regulated under the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) where applicable.

4. Invoices and Taxes

  • A digital invoice/receipt will be automatically issued and emailed to you after a successful payment.
  • VAT (Value Added Tax) will be applied to all taxable services as per UK tax regulations.
  • For international learners outside the UK, local taxes or cross-border fees (if applicable) will be borne by the customer.
  • Invoices will clearly display VAT registration details and total payable amounts.

5. Instalments, Financing, and EMI Options

  • Learners may choose to pay via authorised third-party finance providers or instalment schemes (where available).
  • All financing approvals are subject to the lender’s independent assessment and terms.
  • Skill Versed Ltd is not responsible or liable for any loan approval decisions, repayment defaults, or penalties arising from third-party finance agreements.
  • Learners are advised to read and understand the loan provider’s agreement before proceeding.

6. Failed or Unsuccessful Transactions

If a transaction fails but funds have been debited from your account:

  • Please contact our support team at payments@skillversed.com within 5 working days, providing your transaction ID and payment proof.
  • Upon verification, refunds for failed transactions will be processed within 5–7 UK business days to the original mode of payment.
  • Skill Versed Ltd is not liable for delays caused by intermediary banks, card issuers, or third-party payment gateways.

7. Subscription and Recurring Payments

For learners enrolled in subscrip on-based or recurring payment plans:

  • The subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription anytime through your Skill Versed account dashboard or by contacting support@skillversed.com at least 7 days before renewal.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the course or service until the end of the current billing period.

8. Refunds

Refunds for successfully processed payments are governed strictly by the Refund Policy available on our website. All approved refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take up to 45 business days depending on your financial institution.

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of any payment disputes or unauthorised charges:

  • Please notify support@skillversed.com immediately with full transaction details.
  • We will work with our payment partners to investigate and resolve the issue in accordance with UK consumer law.
  • If the dispute remains unresolved, learners may escalate it through appropriate UK consumer protection authorities or recognised Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) schemes.

10. Policy Amendments

Skill Versed Ltd reserves the right to amend or update this Payment Policy periodically to comply with regulatory or operational requirements. Any changes will be published on our official website, and the updated policy will supersede previous versions.
